Rehearsals continue for A Christmas Carol. After a day of review yesterday, we are continuing with some scenes that we haven’t even touched yet.
I’m very proud of everyone’s work so far. Since this is a new adaptation, we are receiving changes on the fly. Everyone is rolling with them beautifully, and integrating the changes quickly. Very encouraging – the faster we can work in the changes, the more efficiently we can move to the next thing. When you’re dealing with 36 actors, efficiency is key.
For me, today’s main concern involves that accordion. It’s coming along, but not as quickly as I would like. Despite my German heritage, I was clearly not born to polka.
